ACE (Adult Community Education) classes are nature-inspired programs open to everyone in the Central Coast community. Participants can explore a wide range of topics—not just birds, but also nature journaling, photography, botany, and the fascinating natural history of our region. Taught by local environmental experts, artists, and scholars, these classes offer a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Central Coast’s remarkable biodiversity while learning from passionate educators.
Most ACE classes include a tuition fee, which directly supports our mission-driven work. Proceeds help fund our free environmental education initiatives for primary, secondary, and higher education students, ensuring the next generation builds a strong foundation in environmental stewardship.
In keeping with our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, 25% of all class spots are reserved as scholarships for those who might otherwise be unable to participate. This reflects our belief that environmental education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances.
