Description:

We’ll watch as the sun sets and birds of prey species change from the diurnal to the nocturnal. There’s a steep, short incline at the start, then the terrain turns to rolling  hills and easy trails. Rodent central, this area is frequented by harriers, falcons and kites during the day, then possible Short-Eared Owls and Great Horned Owls at dusk.

This trail is rated “moderate”, steep in some places and has been slippery due to rains. It will be dark on the return hike. Please keep this in mind when you register.
