FIELD TRIP: Estero Bluffs/San Geronimo Water Tower/Windmill Pullout

Trip is limited to 12 participants - Signups will be taken for 24 hours. 12 participants will be randomly selected. The remainder will be put on standby status in case of cancellations.
DESCRIPTION:
Estero Bluffs State Park is a mostly unpublicized coastline starting north of Cayucos and extending 3 miles up the coast. Enjoy a slow-paced walk of 1.5-2 miles along a beautiful and wild ocean bluff trail. We’ll look for birds of prey, including eagles and falcons, as well as diving ducks, shorebirds, waders, gulls, cormorants, and wintering terrestrial species.
Bring a hat, water, snacks, sunscreen, binoculars, and field guides (if you have them) and dress in layers to accommodate wind and changing weather. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Restrooms are not available. Rain cancels.
Experience Level: Beginning to Intermediate. Photographers welcome.
