NatureTrack Film Festival

The
NatureTrack Film Festival is an activity that individuals and whole families can enjoy. [BTW, Thanks to Maureen McFadden of Santa Barbara Audubon Society for sharing this info with MCAS.]

This festival will be an all-virtual offering from Oct 17 to 31. Reasonably priced - $75 gets a festival pass, or you can choose a $10 “block” of the films you’d like to see.

In addition to the two films by Michael Love on Birding that SBAS supported, there are more than 70 films to choose from in categories such as conservation, adventure, out of door and out of bounds, scenic, student, biography, and kids connecting with nature.

That last category is one of the missions of the NatureTrack organization that this film festival supports. The organization is in its 10th year of taking kids out into nature on the trails and beaches of Santa Barbara County. All activities are free to teachers, school districts, and parents; covering insurance, busses, and the docents leading the way.
